Play Group

Emily and I have started a Friday Park Playgroup. Emily is having lots of fun playing with all the babies around her age. They all love to share toys and snacks during our hour together. Emily will be starting her Music Together class next Thursday. I think she will love it because she loves music and there will be lots of other kids to play with.

An update...finally!!

Well the last couple weeks have flown by and Emily has had alot of fun! She had a 4 day visit from Grandma and we had a great time! We went to the Folsom Zoo and Apple Hill during her stay. Emily had to borrow Lolas Winnie the Pooh car because she can stand and push it across the floor. It is quite amazing that in 1 month she went from barely sitting up on her own to crawling, standing, and cruising. Steve has been busy at work and in his spare itme he is doing some work on the wine cellar. After pulling out all the wine to add some insulation, we discovered we need to be drinking more wine! Doggies!!!!!

Emily is getting quite daring when it comes to our 2 dogs, Madison and Tucker. Our lab, Maddy, is interested and sneaks in a lick whenever she can. Tucker, on the other hand, chooses not to participate. Its pretty cute.

Little helper

This weekend we visited the family down in San jose for a going away party for my cousin Laura. Emily had fun with her cousin Tyler who is almost 2. We also are baby proofing the house due to Emilys increasing mobility. She is learning more and more everyday!

My Car

Emily has decided she no longer is interested in her BOB jogger...She now prefers to ride in style in her buggy. We spend most evenings cruising the neighborhood in her shnazzy buggy. It's a bit of a bumpy ride but she loves to steer and bop her head up and down as she goes. So very cute!

Welcome!!

So here it goes...my 1st attempt at a blog... I hope to keep you all updated on our lives and especially Emily. She is growing so fast! So here goes my 1st update:

Emily is now mobile! Miss Emily has decided to crawl, when she wants to of course. She loves baby dolls and giving lots of kisses. We are attempting to teach her baby signs now. Some of the words we are working on are:baby, eat, drink, more, milk, cat, dog, etc....She doesn't seem too interested yet. Emily is in daycare 3 days a week while I work. She loves it there. Tracy has a daughter, Sydney, who Emily adores.
